I have been a client of Riverside for over three years. I am posting this review because I love dogs and dog owners need to know the truth about their animals providers. Dr. Patricia Fobare Erickson is a now working at Riverside. In my opinion, she is rude, lacks compassion and professionalism. My dog had a Wellness visit scheduled and a vaccination shot. If you had asked me a about two years ago I would have recommended them but to date I can not say thay are top notch. Over the past year my 3 year old dog has had issues with his back I have taken him in multiple times to get it checked out only to not have any real answer as to what is going on. yesterday my cats usual vet was not in the office and he was having an emergency. i called Riverside and they got us pretty much right in. the team there was OUTSTANDING. i was extremely emotional and they took wonderful care of me and my cat. i can not remember the vets name but she took so much time to explain things to me and she and josh were so kind and compassionate to both me and my sick upset kitty. i really can not thank them enough for all they did for us. they are … See more
Dr. Gifford is one of the sweetest and most caring doctors I know. She is so understanding and meets her patients in the middle. I have a purebred shepherd who is having some complications right now, and she has explored every Avenue to keep him comfortable in the most cost effective way.
I first went to Riverside twenty years ago, when I had a ferret. Dr. Carol and her team went above and beyond to care for my girl back then. So when my partner adopted a dog and he brought her with him to live in Rutland, I urged him to take her to Riverside. Just like before, Dr. Carol and her team go above and beyond. People who truly love animals are essential to a veterinary practice, and you’ll find them at Riverside.

I love Riverside!! I’ve been bringing my cats there for about 8 years now and I’ve always been happy with the care they have received! From the front desk to the techs and the doctors I’ve always been comfortable and my animals have been treated with care and love. Dr. Gifford really knows her stuff and has always been right on in her diagnosis every time. I’ve also brought my bunny in twice when he needed treatment for an eye infection.
