My son's Ford F250 broke down and we figured out it was the transmission. I'm a decent car mechanic and I did a diagnostic test on the transmission. I figured out it was the solenoid pack in the 4R100 Ford transmission. Got the Chinese made solenoid pack from O'Reilly's Auto Parts for $240 and installed it. That didn't fix it. I figured it had to be a sensor. I replaced 2 of the sensors. Still didn't work. So I figure out it had to be a short in the wiring from the computer to the solenoid pack.
