Great man great surgeon. My other half Frank McGuinness cancelled hernia surgery twice because of horror stories other people had told him about what happened to them. Dr Mazraany kept telling him to get out of his head and it will be fine. My other half finally realized he had to bite the bullet and do it....even though he was expecting to be out of commission for months. had a disappointing experience during my recent appointment with Dr. Wassim Mazraany. I felt frustrated and unheard throughout the visit, as my concerns about ongoing abdominal pain and discomfort were not adequately addressed. The advice provided seemed vague and I left feeling that my health issues were not taken seriously. Very rude doctor, right on par with all LGH "professionals". Was sent to him by my PCP for an issue and when he walked into the room, he asked who told me there was something wrong and why I wanted to be seen. I didn't ask for the appointment, my doctor sent me to him. He then told me that since I've been seen at other hospitals, I should stay seeing them and not LGH. My "easy peasey" 3 day surgery turned into a second and third surgery. 3 months in hospital, icu, and rehab. The 3rd surgery from his damage is still yet to happen. Do not trust him! As per the above I will now give a more concise review. After much research I have discovered that the 1st surgery done by Dr Mazzrani should not have been done.
