I can’t recommend this place less. We rented a jet ski for four hours, followed all their rules, and always docked it properly—yet it broke down due to a mechanical failure. Even though the ski was 3 years old (2022 model in late summer 2025), they charged us for parts and labor to replace a wear ring. The lake is full of natural debris like sticks and pinecones, which any renter would expect equipment to withstand since the rent on this lake—especially at $100 per hour. Our family rented a premium pontoon boat and two jet skis for the day. We had a blast and the team at Riverside Recreation was so great the entire time.
The boat and the lake were fine for sure and I would definitely recommend getting out there somehow just not with this company unless you're aware of all the industry garbage. They charge less then other rentals around the lake sure, then they turn around and waste your time before you get out on the water with videos and such and don't tell you it's eating into your rental time!
