Specialties Riverside Recreation opened in the summer of 2011 by Pam and Tim Sneeringer. We are located in Forest County along the Allegheny River in West Hickory, PA. We have an 8 mile canoe or kayak float on the Allegheny River from Tidioute to West Hickory which will take from 2 to 4 hours to complete. A 10 mile and overnight floats are also available. We stay in the lovely cabin for two nights with my husband and my two kids, it was really nice and cozy. Highly recommend Riverside Recreation.
Had an amazing time doing this! The area is beautiful and calm. I recommend you get the kayak. It's much easier than canoeing. There were 4 of us, so 2 went in each kayak. Even if you have never been kayaking before, it's pretty easy to figure out and a great arm workout! We went for 2 hours and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely use Riverside Recreation again!
