For my very first appointment with Dr, LaPerna, I have never experienced such a GREAT first impression and consultation from a medical professional in my entire life, and I am the son of a pedodondist. This was not your typical, run-of-the-mill doctor's visit, where the doc seems to just want to get to the next patient with as little interaction as possible. I have suffered with swelling in my left leg and ankle for 10+ years. It has gotten increasingly worse in the last year. I have undergone numerous tests and scans done locally by cardiologists and vascular surgeons. Most recently I was referred to Dr. Joddi Neff-Massullo at Riverside Radiology, by my cardiologist at Avita, still hopeful that some answers could be obtained as to why I have swelling in only 1 leg.
