The worst experience in the world. They denied care to my son, who had a fever of 102. They gave us an appointment for 4 o’clock. We live in Lodi, and when we arrived, they refused to see him because they no longer accept that health insurance. We were never notified about this. The pediatrician who used to see him was Dr. Anca Tomsa. This place is terrible. The wait time is over two hours. The office could be empty with no patients and u still wait over an hour. Receptionist says- doctors have a bunch of files on their desk and they are busy catching up, we gotta wait. It’s always like this. The reception girls are super rude. The older Spanish lady has no manners to be front desk. If you could go to another location do so if not go with a clear schedule because you will be there a few hours.

Have been using Riverside medical group for the past 9 years. But, today’s experience at the Edgewater location has broken the camel’s back. I had an appointment for my daughter at 4:45pm and we were not seen by the doctor till 6:15pm. I personally think this is unacceptable. If we patients come late they give us so much of trouble but if they are late there is no remorse on their part. Going to change the pediatrician office altogether. Even changing to Optum does not help when you can’t keep time.
