Riverside Apartments is absolutely not the place to live. The leasing office shows zero care for their residents and refuses to handle serious issues—every response is simply, “call the police.” They tack on hidden fees without being upfront, and the entire complex is run-down and poorly managed. If I were you, I would avoid moving in at all costs.
The apartments are clean and the fair size definitely in a great location with a great school for my kids nearby. Not a long commute for work and plenty of parks. Pools here are decent when they're open. But be known this is a smoke in unit. They allow smoking on property and inside the units which causes the smoke alarms to go off causing all the fire alarms to go off. Pretty great place overall. There are a bunch of bad comments on here but I haven't had any bad experiences and lots of good ones ((:
Just run. Everything is going downhill, withholding deposits, unprofessional treatment of tenants. Current staff has zero clue about renters rights and laws and their office is chaos. The "manager" stops replying and delays communication while attempting to gaslight. JUST RUN. They have multiple claims coming their way from various residents.
Came in to Riverside Park Apartments Leasing Office today for scheduled tour. I greeted the two office staffers, the one behind the monitor screens asked if she could help. (Can you see anyone behind the screens in the attached photo?). I told her I was there for my appointment, she asked, “what are you looking for”.
