Awesome time, our guide was great. My 11 yr old daughter and I loved it.
We had a great time rafting!! Our guide, Jay did an awesome job talking us through the challenges of the James River.
The river was pretty high, so we travelled a longer section for the same time. Loved our guide Hailey! She told us lots about the river area and worked to make the rapids fun. We were a group of 6, so we were in one boat. The trip is very fun! If you have never been white water rafting, this is an excellent place to start. I would highly recommend.
Already planning our next adventure with Riverside Outfitters! We enjoyed the lower rapids on the James today and cannot recommend Kyle as a guide enough! The guides went over everything and we felt very equipped and safe going into it. We experienced beautiful scenery, a nice refreshing “voluntary” dip as the guides refer to it, some “spicy” rapids with fast paddling and bouncing off rocks, and completed the trip with an ice cold beverage at the end! Loved it all! We will be back!
