Had an appointment with Dr Kathryn Saunderson. She was absolutely brilliant.She took the time to go through everything. Never felt rushed as she listened and carefully went through everything with me. I highly recommend. Online booking has definitely made it easier to go to the GP now.
Had a good experience at Riverside today. I had my first review for diabetes with Diane. Although I had a good outcome I felt that Diane was so supportive and was genuinely pleased with my progress. I took on board all her advice and felt that she was partially responsible for my good results.
Feeling nervous and a wee bit stressed having to call for a doctors appointment this morning. Honestly it was all fine. Lovely Lynn ( the voice of calm and efficiency) came online and all nerves were gone. I'm so grateful to get an appointment sorted, thanks Lynn😊
I understand that there are concerns about accessing the surgery and the phone queue can be quite frustrating early in the morning, but they are doing a lot to address this (CWiC and online appointments). However, all staff I have encountered at this surgery are fantastic (including the reception team). Myself, and my child have quite a number of health conditions and we are always treated with respect and everything is dealt with empathetically. Wouldn't give them a star tbf. Receptionist had a seriously bad attitude and refused to help with regular medication 2 days before Xmas when ordered in advance. Drs dont record visits or forward hospital recomendations or results. Absolute nightmare of a surgery. SEE EDITS: Edit : since the online booking system has come into effect. I have to say it is so much easier to access. Also big improvement with Dr's I've seen as I have the ability to choose what doctor I see online.
