Met with Dr. Akinde today and boy where do I begin. Never have I seen a woman be so against another woman having a good quality of life. She claimed that a total hysterectomy would not rid me of my pain EVEN THOUGH my chronic pain is coming from my reproductive organs. So much pain that I have to be in a wheelchair at 24. If I could give zero stars I would I went in today as a 18 year old female today and came out crying in tears. she told me I had to get naked and I said get naked? I said like to my underwear and she said yea then she only gave me one little gown and she said well it's your yearly checkup she's gonna do a pelvic exam and I said what's that and she didn't even tell me I had to google it then the other docter walked in and said oh I don't need to exam u u don't need to be naked do u wanna get dressed then they opened the door ... read more
Setting up an appointment online was very easy. We had a new patient consult with Dr. Zelda. She was amazing and helpful with our concerns. Dr. Zelda was recommended by a friend who is also a Riverside employee. She said she was great with younger patients and that was so spot on! She was knowledgeable and gave us an honest answer when we had questions. Thank you so much to the entire department!
Dr. Zelda is my gynecologist and she also delivered my baby girl. My experience with her was truly amazing as a first time mom. She gave me advice and knowledge and allowed me to make my own decisions. She was never pressuring, at all. I wanted to have a natural vaginal birth, but my baby’s wouldn’t fit down my birth canal (in which Dr. Zelda always told me she was big), but she allowed me to make the decision for a C-Section on my own.
