Made an appt 6 weeks ago for my daughter's first gynecological visit. Called the facility yesterday morning to confirm time and was told 1:30 pm. My daughter and I arrive and there is a note on the door stating that location is closed (first I've heard this). Call and was told that they had left a message to reschedule my daughter's appt. No, they did not. My time and my daughter's time is as valuable as anyone else's! Extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this unprofessional, unapologetic medical facility!
Where do I start.! There’s not too much I can say because there’s an open situation happening, but just know that it’s taken care of. Providers were never the issue, the front desk receptionist that decided to have an open conversation about me and it was overheard by someone that knows me and gave me a call. Dr. Yalamanchilli is a professional gas lighter. She doesn’t take her patients seriously, and refuses to have any bedside manner for your situation. She may have a degree, but we women know our own bodies. Now I’m having issues with the IUD that she insist I have with PNH even though she doesn’t have any knowledge to my disease or what we are dealing with. Do yourself a favor and find a different OB. I had nothing but issues with the care provided my whole pregnancy, birth, and now postpartum. You cannot switch to a different doctor, you don’t know who will deliver and then they don’t see you postpartum for any issues or concerns. Terrible experience all the way around during such a fragile time.
Saw doctor akinde. Her nurses would freak out with my pregnancy blood pressures. She would come in and say it’s normal for pregnancy to be that high. Starting 28 weeks. I got super swollen. All my nurses friends kept telling me I have all the preeclampsia signs. Then my water breaks 38 weeks. Baby had to be in hospital for almost a week for jaundice.
