I was in ER yesterday, I get severely painful UTI’s unfortunately and had severe pain. I drove myself to er when I was in excruciating pain and I really never wished that pain on my worst enemy. I came to Riverside bc typically I get help from them, I understand they were busy and this had to been like my 30th time going to this hospital. I have always advocated for this hospital. I referred a patient there for further evaluation as they are a patient of RMC providers. I called to inform why I was sending the patient (which is a courtesy, not a requirement). I received a return call hours later from a an ER physician speaking condescending and sounding irritated that he had to see a patient. DO NOT TRY TO CHASTISE ME for expecting you to DO WHAT YOU DO SIR!!! THIS IS the behavior that impacts healthcare in this community.
