I referred a patient there for further evaluation as they are a patient of RMC providers. I called to inform why I was sending the patient (which is a courtesy, not a requirement). I received a return call hours later from a an ER physician speaking condescending and sounding irritated that he had to see a patient. DO NOT TRY TO CHASTISE ME for expecting you to DO WHAT YOU DO SIR!!! THIS IS the behavior that impacts healthcare in this community.

A trip to the Riverside Emergency Department. The Riverside Emergency Department Team was wonderful. However, one person on my care team stood out. Hannah was amazing ED nurse who treated me during my visit to the E.D. at Riverside Hospital. I suffered a severe shoulder dislocation. I don't know what they got going on over there but they're very shady people. Avoid like the plague. My wife was a nurse there and got health insurance for our whole family. Yet when I got a microdasectomy on my spine in February now they're trying to pass me on the Medicaid or Medicare and refuse to cover it even though they are self-insured company. Furthermore they refuse to cooperate at all and provide me with any of the legally necessary paperwork to file my appeal. Their purposely being difficult at every turn. All I g... read more

When in for gi bleed 🩸 and lots of blood in poop. They didn't give me any medication at all and sent me home claiming gi bleeds isn't a medical emergency. The tests came back indicating I had an infection but the doctor plain out lied saying I was fine. Never go here for a medical emergency go to Saint Mary's hospital next door instead. I could have died if the bleeding didn't stop by itself

So my daughter went into the RMC with severe abdominal pain twice in a week. It ended up being kidney stone(s). The first time she was sent home told it would pass and told they can't do anything about it in our area. They would have to transfer her up north. The nurses were wonderful but when it came down to being treated we were told there was no one area who could do pediatric urology.
