You’d think all bed and breakfast places are the same but this one is different. It made me feel like home. The hosts were gracious and polite. The views of the river on sunset and sunrises were some of the best I’ve seen. It was the perfect get away specially while going to the creation museum and the ark. A spotlight on the food as well. They know how to cook and cook well. The strawberry syrup Rachel made was incredible I ate more French toast (best I’ve had) just to have more strawberry syrup. This is, I believe, the closest Bed & Breakfast to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. My wife and I stayed at Riverside and Uber'd back and forth to the Ark. Loved it! Breakfast was fantastic and the gazebo by the river was our favorite spot.
What an absolute delight to drive up to this stately mansion after driving through miles of farm land. Everything, from the gracious welcome to a tour of the beautiful rooms, was more and more amazing. Each room is beautifully decorated and maintained. The grounds are just as lovely with a magnificent view of the Ohio River and every amenity you could want. Charming B&B with wonderful, full breakfast, clean and comfy rooms with private bath, and amazing hosts! Quaint restaurants close by and casinos short drive. Loved the gazebo on the river, library and pool table. Our family enjoyed spending a birthday weekend at Riverside. They really have a lovely, peaceful property. We will tell everyone about this place and come again!
