While I don't have any experience with the actual Quick Care here, I really just wanted to come on here and say how much I appreciate the professionalism and the skill of the phlebotomists at this location. I am a heavier set girl and my veins are small and deep and they like to roll. So getting blood work done is always a coin toss for me on whether or not someone is going to be able to find a vein. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional. It makes zero sense that they sent me to their Bradley location, only for Bradley to turn around and send me right back to Kankakee—and then suggest I might have to go to the ER because they “can’t handle” my situation. Why send me somewhere in the first place if nobody there knows what they’re doing or can actually help? This place clearly has no communication between locations and no clue how to properly handle patients. They wasted my time, sent me in circles, and left ... read more
Called in on a Sunday to see wait times for my child who has a few health conditions who spiked a 103.6 over night with really no other symptoms that a small cough. At 9:30 was told they were booked until afternoon. This seems to be a thing at the Kankakee location. ( not to mention that they have miss diagnosed me in the past winding up in the ER unable to breathe because of streptococcus) I wanted to give them a second try. Had a very severe eye infection with swelling and went here to be seen . Made an appointment on my chart and arrived 15 min early to check in. From check in to check out had wonderful care. Staff is professional and pleasant. The medical tech taking my history was very thorough and nice. Chantel Smith the Nurse Practioner was very professional. Did a thorough exam and explained clearly what was wrong with my eye and the treatment plan.She has a great bedside manner . Very good experience and totally recommend.
I made an appointment 12 hours in advance. They scooted me along to the dr. As soon as I walked in. I think it definitely makes a difference to make an appointment. Everyone there was very friendly and they managed to help me w why I came there that day.
