Beware of False Advertising I served as a board member and past president for a total of 5 years. The above good review was from my sister who was visiting me. I used to believe in this organization. I and other recently resigned 5 board members have found pervasive secrecy and deceit. We were not shown the IRS documents of income and expenses. When we found them "accidentally" online. I found my name to have been forged to a submission 2010 that I had never seen. Again no board member saw these documents that were submitted... read more
Shopper from Out of Town I was visiting family here. I am from the mid west. It is a fun time to see the things gathred together for sale in this unique Thrift Store that uses it's profits to support community activities. The staff was helpful and friendly to an out of towner. They helped me find some great art books that I was happy to carry back home. They have some intersting hats and special clothing for large size women..a real asset for all shoppers. I know they need volunteers..If I lived here I would sign up;.
