My college aged son called the practice to schedule a colonoscopy appointment and was told that the practice accepted our insurance provider. He uploaded the insurance for verification prior to his appointment and no one mentioned any issue. Almost 10 months later, he received an invoice and was told that our insurance rejected the insurance claim because it was out of network. The practice website bragged about "We’re Here to Help You Understand the Cost of Health Care". Obviously, that's not the case.
Incredibly poor customer service (scheduler refuses to do their job and this isn't the first time). She inserted her Democrat political views and did not follow through with doing her job. This isn't the first issue. In the past, they have also made me cancel my appointment or apply the wrong insurance. The department head tried to fix on one of many appointments, but at the cost of a lot of wasted time and money. Terrible service minus the actual physician or practitioner. Tried to charge me 4x what I have ever paid in the past for procedure. Accounting tried to tell me it was my insurance while the insurance was on the other line and I had my card in hand flat out saying that rate was incorrect. Surgical center staff is incompetent to say the least. Go somewhere else completely, absolutely wasted my time, MONTHS I waited on this absolutely garbage show.
I have been going to this office for years. They recently went through some changes and my practitioner left the practice. I saw her in December right before she left. I just now ran out of a prescription (nothing serious and I could get it OTC). I called to get a refill and they told me I had to come in for a "follow-up". I asked what it is a follow up for and the person on the phone told me that in order to get a prescription they needed to see me once a year.
