Way more expensive than I expected for a basic procedure and way more than I’ve been charged for similar work at other dentists and wasn’t explained any costs before or during the process. Took me by surprise but was too meek to question it. Difficult for me as I’m between jobs and have been hit by multiple health problems. Have felt demoralised and sad ever since going to this practice and now another tooth is playing up.
More than 450 dollars total for getting a simple filling that had clearly detached but still somehow needed an X-ray for a fee, plus 60 dollar fee just to store the photo of the x Ray, before they could do the filling. Padding out the bill and overcharging for each item may be their business model. There was no explanation of costs for various items at all despite their response to this review. I had a really great experience with Dr Charl. He’s professional, and always makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I’m very happy with the care I received and would definitely recommend Dr Charl to anyone looking for a great dentist!
