They almost killed my wife. She's a type 1 diabetic and they refused to give her any fast acting insulin only long acting insulin that she's supposed to take in the mornings and before bed. Sadly this is the norm for all mental health facilities nationwide. We travel the country and we have yet to find a single mental health facility that will give diabetes insulin correctly. While in this facility her blood sugar was either 40 or 400.
