Used to be an older but well kept cometary. Unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore. This cemetery adds new rows of graves between existing rows, as if that isn’t bad enough they never smooth the ground out afterwards. Great place to break an ankle. Very disappointing. Sad to have chosen this cemetery back in the 70’s when it was nice.

St Joseph’s church no longer is associated with riverside the director of riverside worked for st Joseph’s about ten years ago shame to see it in disrepair

Grave plates missing, no one answers the phone, it’s no way to leave a message or email so someone can respond to messages. Yet if you go to the cemetery, ground work has been done. There are people looking for family members and request to have tombstones delivered. How is that possible without speaking to someone? The worse !

Folks, if you are writing negative reviews I understand, but it is a nearly abandoned cemetery. They have like two workers for the property. I suggest contacting St. Joseph Church and Cemetery as they at least used to partially run that lot. Maybe they can assist you.

If I could have left less than one * I rightly would have given the following experience. There appears to be something terribly wrong at Riverside Cemetery in terms of shamelessly dysfunctional to non-existent customer service being provided by its office to the public and prospective clients. In recent days in mid-September 2020, I sadly placed no less than 4 telephone calls to the office of this cemetery - for the sole purpose of obtaining -- the precise location of my father's gravesite.
