Disappointed in the care there, especially for our Veterans Markers of Purple Heart recipients are covered with grass. It's work to get them cleaned out and legible. Half of the foot tall perennial flowers mowed down at my brother's gravesite. It is especially sad to see so many headstones with family members gone or moved away, seemingly uncared for. I spend more time trying to clean up nearby headstones and markers than I do for my brother and I live 90 minutes away
This is a decent cemetery to walk in. However, mosquitoes can come into the cemetery because the river is nearby. As for the cemetery itself, its capacity is almost full.
Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to "live" there
