Specialties: Come join us for a family fun trip on the Platte River. We are located just outside of Honor, Michigan on scenic M-22 at the Platte River bridge. We are located about half way between Frankfort and Empire. Our Lower Platte River trip ends at a beautiful sugar sand beach located in the southern end of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. I have been floating on the Platte since before Riverside was the lone livery. The shop has what you need on the shelves. The staff are courteous and the craft are clean. What else could you want? One ask, allow us another hour to finish the trip, please.

If you want to enjoy a day on the river, this is the place to team up with. Every staff member is friendly and accommodating. Hope to be back, and bring more people! The Hour and a half drive was worth it!
We love kayaking the Platte River. Riverside is a great place to rent from. Can be busy when weather is nice. Always have a great experience here!
