Sorry, friends, but that woman is WAY off the reservation. Everyone there was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. My wife and I rented kayaks + gear a they took us to our chosen drop point, which conviently placed our take-out at their facility. I've been playing in the NC and SC outdoors on trails, rock, and water most of my life. I've seen the good, the bad, and 'why are you pretending at this' outfitters. Riverside came highly recommended to me by a family member who is friends with the owner, Susie. I was coordinating a bridal shower for my soon-to-be sister-in-law and thought it would be fun to do a wine tour of western NC and a luncheon.
