Tour guide showed us all the plants we could eat and rest assured we ate them. Food 5/5. Tour 5/5.
We went with Mark yesterday on the 4-hour tour. I cannot really express how wonderful it was. We learned a lot about the area and Mark found so many unique sea creatures for us to see, including a 9-armed sea star and a sea hare. The highlight was the time we spent with two dolphins right by our kayak. I HIGHLY recommend this trip….4 hours or longer!!!
We totally enjoyed our mangrove jungle kayak trip! Mark was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, patient and helpful! The kayaks were comfortable and easy to maneuver. They even had room for a cooler! Mark communicated with us ahead of time regarding what to expect in what we would need. It was a great experience.
What a wonderful calming tranquil way to spend a few hours. Mark is a great guide, knows as lot about the mangoves, and provided a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this trip.
Feb 2026 This was our second trip with Rivers to Ocean Kayaking, and it did not disappoint. Mark is an excellent host and guide. When Mark learned that a recent cold snap had caused a fish kill, bringing fish to the surface, he thoughtfully reached out and recommended an alternate trip with more favorable conditions. Even with the challenges, Mark had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife and made sure we still had plenty to enjoy.
