Just did the 2 hour mangrove tree kayak tour with Mark. He is an amazing guide, super friendly and knowledgeable, and the views were beautiful. Would 100% recommend!
Mark is so cool / awesome / knowledgeable. Shame we didn't see any manatees.
Mark set out a wonderful tour plan for us. The boats were inflatable kayaks with padded chairs that were extremely comfortable with plenty of room. This was a wonderful experience with Mark. He is an experienced guide with a lot of knowledge of the plants and animals of Indian River. He was able to “track “ manitees and saw many noses. We also saw several green turtle heads. We saw checkerboard puffers and upside down jelly fish. We walked in sandbars and saw great blue herons, red head egret, white egrets and ospreys. During a short trip through the mangroves, e learned about the different types of mangroves and how they each deal with living in salt water. We also had... read more
We had an amazing 4-hour kayak tour with Mark and his wife! They were wonderful guides who shared fascinating information about the incredible mangrove forest while helping us spot an abundance of wildlife along the way. We never felt rushed—the pace was relaxed, and four hours was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the experience. The kayaks were very comfortable, and the electric motor made the return trip effortless. It was fun, relaxing, and educational, and we highly recommend this tour!
