These people get the basics right, like so few do. Starting with the absence of "perfume" in their laundry detergent. Just wonderfully clean, odor-free bedding and towels. In our view, River's Fork is about as close to perfect as you're going to find anywhere outside your own home. And for some people, it's probably better than that. Great beds, quiet surroundings, responsive management. 99/100. And Idaho is sublime.

We stayed in a campsite along the river here in the summer of 2023. I initially found the place on Harvest Hosts but ended up booking direct so we could get a site with power. Our site was right on the river and it was peaceful. The little store next door was a great amenity and we spent 2 nights here enjoying the river and some fishing. Would stay again if I ever pass through the area.

We stayed in the big family cabin at River’s Fork Lodge and it quickly became a home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the WiFi worked perfectly, the beds and bathrooms were clean and roomy and the water was always warm, even with multiple showers going. The deck overlooked the river and we sat out there for hours. The nearest town is about 20 minutes away, so it is nice and secluded, but easy to get to a store if needed.
