This was our second year doing the trail ride and we have loved our experience both times! All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We didn't realize you had to book pony rides in advance, but they were so kind and made it happen for my younger girls who were too young for the trail ride. The trail ride itself is beautiful! We booked River's Bend Ranch for our wedding venue and are so happy we did! Caroline in the office was so kind and attentive throughout the entire planning process, always answered calls and emails quickly. We were supposed to look at a few other places but toured this spot and knew we had to get married here. The included accommodations came in so handy for our guests traveling from out of state and the views were absolutely beautiful. Very nice ranch, we did the trail ride. I do wish it was a bit longer as I thought it would be 1 hour on the trail, but it was shorter than that. That would be the only improvement I could think of. You have nice views of the Shenandoah and mountains during the ride. Every staff member we came across was warm and inviting. We are looking at possibly renting a cabin for a long weekend on the property to enjoy the scenery after this 1st visit.

Francesca was amazing for our horseback riding last week. This was my first time riding any horse ever in life.This was so much fun for my husband’s birthday. I surprised him with a stay here in the area. Everyday we did something fun in the area.This was perfect place to stay for his birthday & birthday weekend . This two hour ride was great.
