The doctor was fine, but the front office is TERRIBLE when it comes to insurance. I had a December 2025 visit where they failed to properly submit my claim because they forgot to send ALL the necessary information, which is why my insurance couldn’t cover it. The Rivergate Dental group provides Excellent Customer Service. Candy performed my cleaning. She explained the cleaning process which reduces the stress of a difficult experience. The staff made me feel welcome and comfortable.

Dr. Purks is the best dentist I’ve encountered in the decade plus I’ve lived in Charlotte. Not only are her staff super kind and knowledgeable, her dental hygienists are the most gentle I’ve ever experienced. This office never tries to sell me on services or products I don’t need (a massive relief from other dentist offices)! Highly recommend, 10/10.
