The Snowbird Sanctuary is indeed a sanctuary. What a tranquil, relaxing week we spent on the river. Surrounded by nature—Cypress trees, Spanish moss, flowering bushes, and water birds of all sorts—the peaceful atmosphere allowed us to disconnect and recharge the batteries of our souls. My husband and I stayed at the Sanctuary from Feb. 1-29. We have visited Florida annually for the last 10 years.This is the first time that we’ve written a review. The website photos provide great visuals. However, the actual experience of being at the Sanctuary is amazing.
