I went to the Riverdale Y to sign up for a summer gym membership. Initially, when I called, the person on the phone was very nice. However, when I arrived at the Y on a Friday afternoon to ask about the membership, the girl at the desk was quite short with me and didn’t say much. I inquired if joining in mid-June would still allow me to get the membership for two months under the same summer deal. The Riverdale y is an amazing place to perform shows
I usually don't write reviews immediately upon sign up but I feel obliged to after the outstanding service I received from Julio and Goomel. They both worked diligently to accommodate my fitness needs as a service member. Thank you very much.
If it was possible I'd rate this place NEGATIVE 5 stars. This place is completely political in nature and if you don't espouse the democrat brand politics of this place you will be treated like an outcast and eventually banned from coming here altogether. The staff who run the place will make up any excuse to have a person banned. I got a nasty letter from their previous Chief Operating Officer and Director of the Senior Center/Social Worker threatening to call security on me and have me removed from the premises if I partic... read more
