Not the best fit and finish. I went to get a casting bar for my raft. They told me I needed to leave the raft so they can get the perfect fit based on the front rise of the raft. The fit was definitely not great - the only contact point is on the bend. I let them know about it and they told me take it or leave it. I’m even a Salida local. I expected better. My Down River cast bar fit on my other boat is perfect. I expected the same.
Stellar local rafting shop specializing in inflatables and custom aluminum frames. Great customer service and excellent staff so save the trip to the Front Deranged and shop local! Or at least shop not Denver!

I’ve now purchased form Riverboat Works multiple times. Great shop and fabricators. The owner and multiple staff were all knowledgeable, friendly, and gave practical answers to raft questions. Good for new buyers and experienced rafters alike. Their frames are on par if not better than bigger well known brands (with three letter names). Worth the trip. I recently purchased 2 River Sombreros. Had some trouble with the online payment system. Reached out and quickly heard back from Clint. He was super friendly and got me taken care of no problem. He even waived the shipping fee, which I didn’t expect at all! And, I received the Sombreros way earlier than anticipated. While I haven’t had a chance to use them on river yet, I can’t say enough about the customer service I experienced. Amazon is not a good deal, support small businesses with real people behind them.
