Riverbend is one of the most peaceful and well kept communities in the Lake Lure area. The gated entrance adds privacy and security, while the natural beauty, river access, and mountain setting make it a great place to relax and enjoy Western North Carolina. Convenient to Lake Lure, hiking, and local restaurants, but still quiet and tucked away. Great mix of full time residents and vacation homes. Highly recommend!
Room for improvement
Have stayed in several different cabins in Riverbend over the years. The river is beautiful! We see all types of wildlife while visiting.. our family utilizes the walking paths and all the natural areas while we visit.. Lake Lure has a beautiful little town as does Chimney Rock. The Riverwalk and the mom and pop businesses there are a "must-visit".
