We had an incredible experience at this expansive property as over-night guests during an event. Clean, well-maintained, beautiful and everything you would want in accommodations and an event!
This spacious estate with a beautiful and dreamy event barn was the perfect place for a nice professional retreat. It would also make a beautiful spot for a wedding or family reunion with its close proximity to the Portland airport (20 minute ride!). The owner and staff couldn't have been any nicer providing excellent service and even better recommendations for places to eat or visit in the surrounding area. We cannot say enough amazing things about River Winds and their incredible team! From the moment we first toured the venue, Gina, the manager, was unbelievably helpful. She guided us through every step, from figuring out which services fit our needs to addressing small hiccups on the big day (she even fixed one of our bridesmaid’s broken shoes!). Went to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and had a blast! They were lovely of course, plus there were pony rides, hot cocoa, face paint, s'mores, beautiful places for photos, and lots of little details that were well thought through. The best part was how kind and welcoming everyone was! We talked to a bunch of people working there, it was well staffed, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Fingers crossed they decide to run this event again next year because we'll be there!
My husband and I got married at River Winds almost 2 weeks ago and if I could do it a hundred times again at River Winds, I would! Sarah, our wedding day coordinator was beyond amazing. She made all my visions come true and helped us a ton so we were stress free! Gina was also incredible! She was so easy to communicate and helped us with everything we needed regarding the property.
