My husband and I were there yesterday and enjoyed ourselves as much as the first time we were there. Awesome wines and the owner and his Aunt are so very nice. We really enjoy the view. It is very relaxing! We will be back again!
Great winery with a great view. Brad does a great job, even though he does everything himself. The new Frontenac is the best wine I've had there. Ed
Gave this place a 2nd chance and I still wasn't impressed. Both visits it felt like I was invading on someone's home. No indoor space, outside space was beautiful, but on a warm day an indoor air conditionined space would be nice. Disappointed that the wine was sitting out and not chilled. If the wine is supposed to be served chilled, don't leave it sit out on the bar on an 80 degree day.

Great winery in the hills above the Mississippi! Every wine was delicious but I'm bringing back the Frontenac Gris and the River boat Blush- yum!! Enjoyed talking to the owner - very nice and down to earth guy! I
I fell in love with this place when my husband and I looked at it 3 years ago for our wedding venue (got married there) it is beautiful! The wine is fantastic and the owners are very nice, have been back ever since to get wine and just enjoy the view and company. Cassie
We ventured to River View Vineyard after seeing it online. We were very much disappointed.....we're not welcomed or felt welcome. At one point asked if it was ok that we were there or if a private party was going on. No one approached us ....after about 10 minutes , a nice lady offered us a few wine samples. We stayed about 20 minutes total and left....will not be going back.
Stopped in to River View Winery yesterday. I was very disappointed!! It did not look like the website. There was no place to go inside. They were setting up for "Royalty" with appetizers. We felt as if we were intruding on a private party. No one welcomed us I asked if they were open to the public got a 1 word answer "Yes". The view wasn't that great. The only light of the whole experience was a really nice lady that welcomed us to taste test a couple wines. She was very sweet. I definitely will not be returning there!
Spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon there. Girlfriends weekend. Wonderful people. Let me know when you get the claw foot tubs in. The wine was great bought several bottles between uns.
