As a former homeowner, I cannot recommend River Towers. During my ownership, I dealt with recurring water intrusion and mold issues. The HOA repaired the ceiling but required me to pay out of pocket for the wall repairs, only for mold to return later. When I was preparing to sell, getting repairs completed was extremely difficult. Within a month of being here, two motorcycles that were secured were stolen from my neighbor, and twice my motorcycle was attempted to be stolen with a cover and locks on it. An 80 year old lady was beaten outside and sent to the hospital from a non-resident. There is no sense of security; no lights at night; no night staff or cameras to deter crime. Within a week of being here, two motorcycles that were secured were stolen from my neighbor, and twice my motorcycle was attempted to be stolen with a cover and locks on it. There is no sense of security; no lights at night; no night staff or cameras. Amenities include a pay washer and dryer for the building. Also in my first ten days of residency, all three of my laundry hampers were stolen and the dryers only work on medium heat. Every wash is a dollar and every fifteen minutes is a quarter

WARNING: This building is a magnet for crime and the HOA is doing nothing. I’ve lived here through car thefts and weekly vandalism (windows/tires), and the building STILL refuses to install security cameras. My own car was stolen from the parking lot of this building in June and was never found. Fairfax County Police told me that the HOA management is a disaster and they do not cooperate.
