It would be a great place to stay if you could just go straight to your room. If there was a grand final for rude receptionists The River Motels would win hands down. Won’t be back!!

I’m from Queensland want to check in and because my partner is from Ballina was denied to stay there because apparently they don’t take locals so I had nowhere else to go and the refund takes up to 5 days and to find another place to stay. Please contact me and then the lady proceeded to tell me to fraud LinkedIn home and gave me linked to home’s number and wrote it down.

If you’re expecting even the bare minimum of hospitality, avoid the River Street Motel in Ballina. After arriving in the late afternoon during peak summer heat, we found the pool closed with zero communication, and instead of handling this reasonably, we were treated like criminals for expecting advertised facilities to actually be available. Avoid room number 1 if you vue your sleep. This room directly faces River Street. Lots of traffic, extremely noisy until late and then early in the morning again. We also had the furthest away room begore, that was good. But room 1 was dark, gloomy and as said very very noisy.
