They aren't the friendliest and NO you should not tube down that portion of the river. Too many trees on the river. It's great for kayaking. But they'll lie and say it's fine for tubing too. It is not.
Had a great float in tubes. Trip took a bit long this time of year with some log obstacles and slow current but we enjoyed the solitude of the woods and river. Paddles were provided which was very appreciated. We booked through FB messenger and from our first messages with them to meeting and getting dropped off at the start by Robert was overall a wonderful experience. We'll be back next time we're in the area!
Very accommodating on short notice and friendly people! Made it easy for my dog and I to go down the river.
