The River Rock program is incredible. The clinicians and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and passionate about what they do. I attended the IOP program a year ago. My experience there was so impactful on my overall wellbeing. I now work in mental health myself and confidently refer patients their way knowing they will be supported through their mental health and sobriety journey.
I want to add a personal review of River Rock under my name because I’m truly happy of the program and what it has done for my family. I don’t necessarily identify as being an alcoholic but used substances as a way to cope with bad times. Through the intensive outpatient therapy program River Rock provides I was able to gain a clear understanding of how to navigate problems at home. The best care!
I would give them one star. After being referred to them from Sana at Stowe, I felt like an afterthought or an inconvenience to their program. Despite openly communicating both my issues with using and with trauma, they decided to cut me loose after the death of a very young family member when I was traveling. They offered some vague recommendations in an email for continued treatment, but failed to make the necessary connections for continued care. I would not recommend this establishment in the future.
