There was no personal welcome here only a board telling us which room we were in. The only welcome was the air con in the room as it was a very hot day. The room was small and dusty with cobwebs on the wall. The shower curtain didn't go down to the floor. Therefore, it flooded the bathroom and into bedroom. There was no hot water in the sink. Dirty and dusty appartements, bugs in room, spider webs in bathroom. Even though I arrived during check in time there was none available to take complaints. No response to complaints when contacting the host through provided mail adress.

The room had a musty/ stale smell. The flush had gone bad and was running all night. We had a hard time catching up on sleep after a long day at Yosemite. The next morning the flush was repaired. We requested for a room change and were told to check in the afternoon. We called multiple times, however there was no response.
