My husband booked a room there for a week and after the first night he had bedbug bites all over him. The owners acted like he brought them in and would not refund part or all of the cost for stating there one night. They would not even go to the room with him and look at the infestation. He had a room with 2 double beds and they were in each bed. We like to do business with small businesses instead of large chains but now he is off to a chain hotel.
Very nice owners. They have refurbished almost all of the rooms as of my stay, Aug 2008. IT is in a good location away from the city with a woodsy setting. Fishing bait shop outside with live and artificial bait and just about any type supplies needed for local fishing. Just down the road is a boat ramp. Rooms have a small frig and microwave that are not really suitable for cooking but will do the job for cereal, sandwiches type things.
