River Rising,Terrible! Not friendly, over rated, hard pastries, dry, sometimes burnt, and overpriced for what you get. Especially when you can't eat it. Try other places like A taste of Paris, cross from post office. Red Rooster on 93. Also, a good breakfast is BJ'S.
We have been regular customers at River Rising for the ok food and inexpensive prices. Today a very rude man claiming to be the husband of the owner insulted my wife and her friend for allowing our two children to walk around the coffee shop and 'bother other customers', claiming that 'this is not mcdonald's and implying that mcdonald's is where they should be.
