If you’re after an expo 88 era accommodation experience this is the place for you. Untouched by maintenance since the big 1988 event, my apartment featured roach poo in the kitchen, a gaggle of roaches to welcome me to the bathroom, a rusty bath shower with water pressure to rival an old man’s willy (if fact after a sponge bath the first night it got worse the second night). Location of this place & view are second to none, however, the cleanliness of this room was disgusting. If I could give it a zero I would. The corners of the floors & the benches were dirty, the floors themselves were sticky like the floor of a nightclub. The remote to the TV didn't work and I couldn't change channels once I got it on. The water pressure in the shower was like a trickle, and if I wanted to get wet id have to do circles in the water. Id wash one half of my body them the other half. It was horrible. We had a great stay at River Plaza Apartments in South Brisbane. A little older, but clean. We were in a one-bedroom apartment on the 6th floor, and the view was absolutely spectacular. You could see up and down the river, and even from bed watch ferries, boats, runners, cyclists, and people enjoying the pathways. It really added something special to the stay.
