Great Service – I’ve done business with Rusk and team for close to 11 years. In that time I’ve had 3 different vehicles ranging from very old (with 100,000 plus miles) to brand new, so I’ve had all kinds of work done by him. Simple car inspections, oil changes, brakes, transmission work and just about everything else under the hood they provided services. Outstanding Service – I have gone here for many years and they have always been excellent to deal with. Pat there head mechanic I trust with any of my automobiles for he knows them inside and out. Wade, Colby and the rest of the crew there are very knowledgeable and have never steered me wrong and have always given me the best price and the best service. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else in this state.
Don't recommend it – The owner seems like he's a pretty good guy, and I don't really question that he is, but the shop he has just doesn't seem like it has its act together. I wasn't at all pleased with the manager, and I really question their quality of service I heard this place used to be good, but this is just not the case anymore.
Top notch service-quality repairs-stand behind their word – I have taken my cars here since I graduated high school, more than 15 years ago. The same great mechanics have been here even longer than that. Most mechanic shops these days have new faces every few months, not these guys. Take your car somewhere else! – Do NOT take your vehicle here. I have taken my vehicle there twice. The first time, they left a wrench lodged in between the radiator and engine block. I figured that stuff happens sometimes and gave then another chance when there was another issue with my car. The next time the technician broke the tensioner while replacing a belt. REBUTTAL FROM MANAGEMENT – The management at River Oaks Goodyear responds to the critiques because it cares for its customers and reputation. With that said, in response to the below critique, it is important to clarify that Ms. Jackie left out some important details. The 1974 Chevy Nova that was towed in was a rust bucket when it arrived, it obstensibly didnt start. BEWARE! Ask for old replaced parts!!! – These guys came reccommended by a friend of the manager. I took my car there and spent a lot of money on major repairs. Fourteen month and ONE THOUSAND MILES later I had to replace a part that upon visual inspection appears not to have been replaced and seems to have been on the car for a long, long time. Never go here for car repairs I lived in Key West for 8 years and thought I would do business with some local people at Banner Tire. I had problems with my power steering. The manager if Banner tire told me I needed a new Rack and Pinion. I had the rack and Pinion replaced, so I thought. Maybe they made an adjustment, but they charged me a little over $650. Best honest and courteous service around – I brought my car in on a random day, no appointment five minutes after I found this place on google. I apparently had a leak in a tire as every day I found my self putting air in it. I'm not into getting dirt under my nails so much, so on first day off I took my car to the nearest place I could find.
