I needed a place to kill some time between appointments today. It was the perfect time for my first visit to the River Nile Cafe. I sat alone for over a hour enjoying the perfect latte and some prayer and Bible Study. The staff made me feel so welcome. A friend joined me for lunch and I had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I’ve ever had. It was served on Katie Bell’s homemade sun-dried tomato basil bread (I had to buy a loaf to take home). Place has been closed since Aug but still listed as active. Drove 20 minutes and upset not open at all
Red Hat Divas of Dothan, Alabama, had a wonderful gathering for lunch. The servers were great! We had good time, good food and good friends.
