Awesome experience from beginning to end. The guide was super friendly, knew his stuff, and made the whole trip feel easy and fun, even for a newbie like me. The scenery on the Waccamaw River was absolutely gorgeous and chill. It was definitely a workout, especially the trip back against the current. My arms were seriously on fire, but we totally made it. Everything was well organized, safe, and relaxing. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Another Amazing River Island Adventure... this time with our wonderful guide, Natasha 😁 It was a great day with lots of sun, water and paddling. My 2 kids and I (10&13) just spent the night in glamping tent 4. We actually live about 35 minutes away but I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the beach to somewhere relaxing. This place was perfect. It's not one of the big commercial campgrounds you find in the tourist areas. It's tucked back on a dirt road, no million dollar pools full of people. Weather was not our friend this week. They communicated with us and we pushed our start a couple hours and avoided the lingering rains, which we appreciated. The rains chased away most of the wildlife but we still enjoyed our time on the river. It was great to get away for a peaceful paddle and this a definitely something we’d do again if back in town. Thanks for the great trip.
Rented a couple kayaks, employees helpful and friendly. Great way to see nature, get some exercise and relax.
