Very clean room all new items which worked. Good breakfast restaurant right downstairs, cook responded to allergy requests. Polite and professional staff. Hot shower with endless heat. Downtown close to pretty much everything. No issue with parking, but was off season so could be an issue if you like to see your vehicle. No elevator. Stairs could be an issue. If over the bar (busy season) could be noisy Friday-Saturday. Most importantly, they answered the phone both times I called. Staff went out of way to be helpful.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are updated, clean, and very quiet. It’s a short walk from some great places to eat in town. We will stay here again if we are ever back in town!

We traveled to Nipawin for a wedding and there were slim pickins left for hotel rooms. Ended up booking 4 rooms at the River Inn. We were a little skeptical when we first walked in. The check in desk is literally "the bar", across from the VLTs. The dude working there wasnt overly friendly but not terrible either. He checked us in and literally told us nothing except "Here's your keys, have a great stay". We decided to wait for the rest of our family to arrive and have a drink, before going upstairs.
