My mother has been a resident of River Garden for several years and I often tell friends whose parents are also in long-term skilled nursing about the care and compassion she receives at RG. There's been little nursing staff turnover so the RNs, CNAs and ancillary employees know her well and know me since I visit as often as possible. And, since I live in Nashville, I visited numerous long-term care facilities in my area should there be a facility like RG that's close to home. But there isn't. My mother has been in long-term care at RG for 7 years. She is 103 & still fairly sharp. Everyone there gives my mother loving attention. The staff stays in constant contact with me. I am always notified whenever my mother has an issue big or small. I don’t think my mother would have lasted this long at another facility.

We have been very pleased with the care our mother has received. She is in memory care. She has activities and quiet time. The food is good and the staff is friendly and attentive.

This uncaring hell hole is HORRIBLE! I was here for “rehab” following a hip replacement. The staff is inhumane. When I asked for restroom help at night; the giggling response was “maybe. We’ll see”. Air conditioning broke down but they refused to fix it on their Sabbath. This place should be shut down. Report sent to the state.
