My wife had right knee replacement surgery at United Hospital in June, then was transferred to River Falls Hospital in their “swing bed” program. She was there for 3 weeks and received the best care ever! Everyone, from the doctors and nurses to the PCTs treated her with kindness and compassion. She truly felt that she was special and she thrived in that environment!
I’m unsure if the ambulance crew is included in this review (they would have a 5 star). Once I arrived at river falls ed everything was slow paced. The nurse was slow, unfriendly, young and unhelpful (this was a Monday early evening), I was freezing, I was often left alone, while I could hear the medical team chit chatting about their later plans. Every staff member that we encountered, was so very kind and considerate. The care was exceptional. The most compassionate people in healthcare. I thank them very much for the care they gave our mother in her time of need.
Do NOT bring your loved ones to this hospital!! Take the extra time to go to Hudson where you know your loved one will get what they need! The nurses and doctors here do not care about your well being. They don't even communicate with your family to let them know what is happening! They are not thorough or kind at all.
