Disappointed from the beginning. The removal truck arrived with two guys who were not From the company that we booked and were not Japanese. Turns out they were contractors… you hire a Japanese company and expect to get workers from that company, not contractors. About half an hour after the truck arrived “One” staff from River express turned up. During the move he said they don’t move little things so I had to make multiple trips up and down to my car. We were amazed at the strength, speed and professionalism of the team from River Express. Although the initial quote was on the high side, they ended up taking less time which led to it costing less. They also provided 10 crates at no extra charge unlike other movers. They were friendly, polite and punctual. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and would be happy to engage them in our future moves. Thank you so much to the team for making our move as stress-free as possible.
The River Express team is by far the best removalist team I've ever worked with. They arrived on time, the two team members were efficient and professional at their duties. Even when I had to ask the team to unload something from the truck, they always had a smile and worked with the customer. I would definitely use the River Express team, if and when I move.
Absolutely fantastic moving company! River Express helped us move yesterday and they made moving day the most seamless and stress free day of the actual moving process! A representative visited 2 weeks prior to the move to provide an accurate quote by assessing how many items we have, and gave us 10 stackable moving crates which were so handy! I would give them 10 stars if I could. I used River Express to move from Central coast to Canberra. The fees were transparent. No additional charges on site and everything was carefully boxed and wrapped without additional fees (my previous removalist company charged me $1k onsite because of stairs, glasses, monitors etc.) These guys handle stuff with care and careful planning.
