After presenting to this so called “emergency” establishment sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours to hear nurses in the background practically laughing telling the doctor tell her we aren’t a supermarket. Extreme sunburn pain and can’t even turn around to go to the toilet. No sense of relief was given to me at all. Told to just shower and put aloe which I had already been doing. Stay well away from this emergency department if you are in need of urgent care or medical attention because you will be sitting in the waiting room for 2-3 hours. Would have to be one of the worst ED's in the country.
This emergency services should be closed as you would get better services going to a veterinary clinic Having a heart attack and get told I'm stressed and just go home and relax i was told and even made me walk 25 kms because they released me at 2am in the morning and wouldn't even call a taxi for me then get rushed to Adelaide 2 day's later having a massive heart attack
Amazing work! I spent an afternoon in the Ed this week and was totally blown away by the dedication of every staff member working! From reception to the Doctors and Nurses. The Ed was like an well oiled machine everyone buzzing around with total professionalism.Everyone being seen was treated with total respect and personal care. It was clear that everyone cared about every patients well-being. Thankyou to all the staff for looking after Wayne, amazing work!
Presented my 8 month old tube fed baby with an extensive gastrointestinal history, for severe boating and constipation for 5 days with failed attempts of various laxatives. Was made to wait over 3 hours in which that time I could have driven to Womens and Children’s. I ended up leaving in tears as I was the only one in the waiting room. The doctor did not see importance as my daughter was ‘just a baby with constipation’.
