I went into river city tattoo on the boulevard to get a vch piercing. I was introduced to Luna who would be my piercer. She was super friendly and answered any questions I had. She also made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease. She did an awesome job and it was over in an instant. I would recommend Luna for any of your piercing needs.

PLEASE DO NOT go to the River City Tattoo located down off the Boulevard in Richmond. They are very deceptive with their hourly rate. They quote $120 an hour. They finished up with my work in 30 minutes but charged me the full hourly rate. The tattoo was simple, merely 6 words at a size 18 font. They said they would not budge on the price. If you do go to have work done there, be sure to negotiate down your price as much as you can up front and time the artist from the beginning to end as they complete your tattoo. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO RIVER CITY TATTOO OFF THE BOULEVARD. THEY ARE DECEPTIVE WITH THEIR PRICES. STATED $120 AN HOUR, FINISHED THE WORK IN 30 MINUTES BUT CHARGED THE FULL HOURLY RATE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO PAY FOR 30 MINS. PLEASE NEGOTIATE DOWN THE PRICE BEFORE YOU BEGIN AND TIME THE TATTOO ARTIST. IF THEY OVERCHARGE YOU, BE SURE TO WRITE "TIP IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE" WHEN YOU SIGN YOUR RECEIPT. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER TATTOO SHOPS THAT DO GREAT WORK. SHOP AROUND!!!!!

They were pretty rude on the phone when I called to ask a simple question that could have been answered with "I'm sorry but we can't give you an estimate on that" instead of "Well how much does a bag of groceries cost?" Pretty rude in my opinion. Not planning on going there because of that.

The best place to go for tattoos and piercings is River City Tattoo Co i love what they do especially there tattoos they are very colorful and bright the best place in the VA for body piercings.They are very professional at what they do.
